Exciting Enhancements to the HM Land Registry Portal

HM Land Registry announced some fantastic new features to help you manage your applications more effectively:

• Improved estimated completion dates

• Enhanced filters in view applications

• Increased file size limits

• New 'in submission' status for Digital Registration Service applications

These updates build on the January 2024 improvements that allowed portal customers to edit and submit colleagues’ applications. All enhancements were driven by customer feedback to better support you in submitting and managing your applications.

Recently, we held an online information session about registering land and property. HM Land Registry aims for comprehensive registration by 2030, with all publicly owned land registered by 2025. However, a recent survey revealed a lack of confidence among town and parish councils in lodging applications.

Land & Property Registration (LPR) was founded to address this issue, guiding councils through the registration process to ensure successful applications.
