Being a Better Councillor Part 1


Becoming a Better Councillor is offered as two-part online training, or in a single in-person session on a Saturday. The course is designed to enhance your effectiveness and impact as a councillor. Part 1 covers essential skills, including decision-making, communication, community engagement, and understanding your statutory responsibilities. You'll gain insights into good governance, handling constituents' enquiries, and developing policies. Whether you're new to the role or looking to refresh your knowledge, this session will provide valuable tools and strategies to support your community effectively.
