Clerks the Knowledge Part 2

This is a three-part course is offered virtually. Although do note that we can arrange for clerks to attend an in-person one-to-one session. Each online part is a two-hour session and covers the basics that all new clerks need to know.

Part 2 focusses on planning, engagement and development

Participants will explore the basics of local planning, effective community engagement, and ways to source grants to support council initiatives. This module also touches on the importance of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and introduces the Local Council Award Scheme, helping clerks advance in their roles and deliver quality services.
