We are very pleased to invite all our member councils to our 2025 Conference and AGM. The event will have a slightly different format this year to allow for more networking opportunities. It is so seldom that we all get together in person, that we'd like to utilise this time more effectively, encourage robust conversations and provide more opportunity for our clerks and councillors to meet neighbouring councils' officers and councillors.
What you can expect on the day:
Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) and Devolution update from the county: what has taken place since our Information Sharing event in February?
Feedback on GAPTC's LGR and Devolution Survey and how the findings will inform the high-level decision making.
A marketplace of exhibitor stalls with an opportunity to discuss everything from play equipment, to council insurance, finance management systems, websites and other digital innovation.
The opportunity to meet councillors and clerks from your Council HUB, to discuss and debate hyper-local issues and network with colleagues from around the county.
Round-table discussion sessions to share insights from your council.
GAPTC AGM and debate on submitted motions.
